AI has been around some time already, and the recently released ChatGPT made everyone realize something huge and important is happening. We also have image creation such as Stable Diffusion, that can make a picture from a text.
What is AI, how does it work, what can it do.
The technology and principles behind AI was already shaped into what it has become today, when I studied cybernetics and dynamic systems theory in school. The AI in itself is very simple, what makes the difference is the scale, with huge, massive amounts of data, and how it is used.
How can AI help us getting better sound. Can AI design speakers? Perhaps fix room acoustics? Or help organize content and improve communication to an audience?

ChatGPT does not understand technical concepts or physics. It simply repeats what it has seen.
It can, however, answer known, established, technical questions. Like calculating port dimensions for a bass reflex enclosure, and it does this very quick and efficient, it is faster than searching the net and find the formulas for the solution, or finding your book on electroacoustics and look it up there. ChatGPT saves time.
One month has passed, and I have looked much further into AI and how the technology has evolved, interesting times we live in now for sure.
I am also looking into possibilities for consulting services for AI, could be general assistance on how-to-use, implementation projects such as getting a local private AI to learn from company inside documentation.
