Modeling and Simulation

The OEV project, my major thesis, on modeling, simulation and control:

This is sooo nice. This document presents Modeling and Simulation, with theoretical foundations and practical use.
Norwegian language only, but you still get a fairly good idea on what this is, by looking at the pictures and reading the math.

Quote from Øyvind Kvålsvoll on 26/11/2023, 04:22Modeling is to find a mathematical representation of a system, which can then be Simulated.
Purpose
To see how things actually works, to learn about a specific system. Can be used as part of a control algorithm. Can be used to predict future outcome, and learn how changes to the system can change this future.
What can be modeled and simulated?
We usually think of dynamic systems representing something physical, a car, a rocket, a machine. Then all processes and systems that changes dynamically can also be modeled, using the same principles of system theory. Such as socio-economic systems, economics, biological systems, politics.
